This photo was shot on slide film in 2005 with an old Nikon. On a walking tour that day with my photography teacher in Rome, I passed by this field of poppies and loved the delicate petals against the ancient stone. When I was in Italy for the first time, I was noticing RED everywhere. I think it was revitalization; the terms of coming back to life.
