It is time…
I have been sitting on this blog since revamping my site in September 2011. I have gathered ideas to blog about but I needed to get excited about actually doing it. I have things I want to share and Facebook is completely irritating to me and gives me the willies. THIS is the forum to share my truth and things that inspire me. I will show current work as well as past shoots that I love. I will let you know where I will be selling and showing.

I will also use this space to post beautiful, spiritual, dreamlike art because my life’s goal is to have a Spirituality in Art Museum. I feel that there is a harsh polarity in the state of our world. One rushing at breakneck pace in the direction of destruction, loss and death and one rushing in the other direction of healing, peace and life.

My life’s work is just coming into focus now, of realizing that seeing and creating things perceived as beautiful that feed the soul to combat all of the chaotic energies that exist worldwide is of crucial importance. I one day want to own a museum that will be a gorgeous space to share objects that explore the sacred in the mundane, new images of iconography, neo- spiritualism & transcendentalism as it relates to everyone, especially American’s today, with the disenchantment of organized religion that this causing these things to become more individualized.

Humans still have a deep desire to have a personal way to commune with the unknown, divine realm of immaterial experiences or realities. Intimate places that people go within get expressed without and I want to nurture this aspect of human nature. The metaphysical and supernatural side of life is inherent in all religions and spiritual quests. I am interested in all aspects and practices of this seeking with an unbiased eye on all cultures, religions, and ancient sacred places. This fascinates me and the richness of the inner life is something that we all to often take for granted.

Love,
Shanti
